Service Advisor (One Position)

Applications are invited from qualified persons to fill the position of a Service Advisor with Tropical Parts & Services Limited in Accra.

Qualifications and experience:

• HND in Mechanical Engineering preferably automobile specialization. 
• Should exhibit honesty and transparency.
• Experience in dealing with customers in an auto service center an advantage.
• Experience in database management and should familiar with automobiles.
• Computer literacy; Microsoft Word and Excel, Tally ERP a plus and able to easily search for information online (google, YouTube, etc.).
• Must have a valid light vehicle driving license.
• Good team player and communicate well with others. 
• Candidates should be willing to learn new ways of doing things, be customer focus, and exhibit HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) consciousness.

Responsibilities:

• Issuance of Work Orders (WOs) to the workshop.
• Registration of vehicles and clients in Vehicle Management System (VMS).
• Ensure WOs are closed in vehicle management system the moment jobs are signed off by mechanics.
• Withdrawal of parts & consumables from stores.
• Engage with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and communicate to the team leader for action.
• Testing of vehicles to ensure works are completed properly.
• Ensure customers endorse WOs before work begins on their vehicles.
• Ensure replaced mechanical parts are retained for customer verification before disposal.
• Develop SOP for all equipment and operations.
• Ensure SOPs are accessible to all mechanics.
